• The Red Oak Family Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization that supports families with family members on the autism spectrum by providing networking opportunities, social and educational events, and connections to resources.
  • Receiving an autism diagnosis and beyond, can be isolating. We create community connections to access beneficial information through sharing with other local families. We provide local events to meet and socialize with other families in comfortable environments.
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) families have different challenges, and we can also relate to each other on many levels. We believe that when we navigate the world of autism spectrum disorder, we are more successful when we stand together. We also celebrate differences and empathize with challenges.
  • The Centers for Disease Control and Preventions (CDC) reports about 1 in 36 children has been identified with autism spectrum disorder according to estimates from the CDC’s Autism and Developmental Disabilities Monitoring (ADDM) Network. We are not a research focused organization, and also find current statistics to echo our overwhelming need to support ASD families now, as they integrate into our communities from childhood through adulthood.
